She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Weitzel and Elsie Weitzel (Neff); her husband Willard John Hazen; and her sons, Tim and Wayne Slattery.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Sutherland, Bill Hazen (Cathy), Carol Hazen (David Heubner), Marylynn Slattery and Bruce Hazen. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.
As per June's wishes, herself and her true love, Willard will be laid to rest with a public graveside service on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., at Avondale Cemetery, 4 Avondale Avenue. (Please meet just over the bridge off Avondale Avenue at 9:45 a.m.) As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario through the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford.
