It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Evelyn Holmes in Stratford, Ontario, born in Kenora, Ontario, who passed away on January 19, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Tansley and Muriel Tansley; and her sister-in-law Elaine Tansley. She is survived by: her husband Ron; her siblings, Gary Tansley, Marilyn Cory (Bob) and Gerry; her sister-in-law Judy Holmes; her cousin Judy Petch; and her nieces and nephews, Lisa Adams, Jenn Spencer (Dave), Leslie Holmes, Lindsay Holmes, Greg Tansley, Matthew Tansley (Joanne), Jeff Cory (Danilynn), Steve Cory (Kirsten) and Andrew Holmes. She is also survived by twelve grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
