Jim Smellie Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 26, 2023, at the age of 73, Jim Smellie (Stratford, Ontario), born in Cambridge, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smellie and Gladys Smellie; his brothers-in-law, Bruce Sutton and Daniel Blommaert; and his parents-in-law, Jean Scott and Joe Blommaert.

He is survived by: his wife Brenda (Blommaert); his children, Jason (Jolene), Jarod and Jeffery (Diana); his grandchildren, Jenna, Jaiden, Jessyca, Easton, Jesse, Rhianna, Aurora, Faeryn, Josephine and Victoria Delesie; his sisters, Lynne Bondy, Sheila Habermehl (Ted) and Leanne Daniels (Rob); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Guilherme (Joe), Linda Sutton, Kim Gates (Brad), Sandra Metelski (Peter) and Jeff Blommaert (Rhonda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in Jim's memory may be made to the Stratford General Hospital.
