He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Thompson and Doreen Thompson (Schuett); his wife Marie Therese (Legere); his siblings, Thomas, Connie and Bill Thompson; and his siblings-in-law, Gerry Legere and Gloria Legere.
He is survived by: his daughter Shannon Archer (Wendell); his sisters, Judy Gilbert (John) and Sandy Chilton; and his sister-in-law Lynn Legere. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
