He was predeceased by: his siblings, Graham, Laverne, Bob, Ken (Buelah), Doug (Louise) and Gloria Keller (Henry).

He is survived by: his wife Betty (Wickenheiser); his children, Jacky Rohfritsch (Doug), Liza Zimmer (Jay) and Jeff Zimmer; and his grandchildren, Rachel (Blake), Natalie (Jacob), Holly (Adam), Quinten (Taylor), Chloe (Dan), Andrew (Kelsy), Jarett (Amy), Sophie (Austin), Nolan (Kassidy), Paige (Alex) and Brennan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Stratford General Hospital.
