He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Barbara Cook; his parents, Jean Reid and Gordon Reid; and his siblings, Linda Reid, Donald (Anne), Debbie Squibb (Dean), Betty Sterritt (Paul Vanderpol), Bill (Nancy) and Hannah Reid Bennett (Paul).
He is survived by: his wife Cathy (Cook); his children, Angela, Michael (Becky), Ashley (Brandon) and Alex; his grandchildren, Andrea Cross, Brooklynn and Bennett Whittal; his father-in-law Lloyd Cook; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Crawford (Don) and Bryan Cook (Julie); and his aunts and uncles, Myrtle Reid, Joe Zuest, Marg Duncan, Bill and Susan Alexander. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
