He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomas and Margaret Thomas; his brother Larry Thomas; his sister-in-law Liz Thomas; and also, Patricia, Joe Griffi, Tony Griffi, Sheila Pigeon, Don Pigeon, Greg Pigeon, Kathleen, Ernie Hesse, Nora, Michael Ryan and Garry Curry.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Thomas (Curry); his children, Bernie (John Kozak), Chris (Sandra Yantzi), Celina (Gary Hicks), Shannon (Steve Heitbohmer) and Jeffrey Eidt; his grandchildren, Harrison, Simon, Madelyn (Tristan) and Sophie Kozak; his children, Gretchen (Jessica), Elizabeth, Emma Thomas, Lucas (Krystal), Clarissa Hicks (Kyle), Ben and Ava Heitbohmer; his great grandchild Gwendolyn Fallows; his siblings, Nancy (Bob Black), Mariellen (Paul Baechler) and Craig Thomas; his siblings-in-law, Kevin (Carol Curry) and Sue Curry; and his caregiver Amy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations will be given to the Alzheimer Society - Huron Perth, and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
