Hans Steigmeier Obituary

We bid farewell to Hans Steigmeier of Stratford, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 8, 2024 at the age of 96. Hans touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria; his children, Gerda Charlton (late Rick) and Fritz Steigmeier (Brigitte); and his grandchildren, Marc Charlton (late Jen), Scott Charlton (Nella), Katie Steigmeier (Andre Lallemand), Chris Steigmeier, Jordan Kelly, Paige Dougherty (Shawn), Cameron (Chelsea), Dalen, Spencer, Tess, Beau, Ben, Isabella, Michael, Victoria, Max, Quinn and Jayce.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church (115 Cambria St, Stratford, ON N5A1H2). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada and the Rotary Respite House Stratford.
