He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenico Tiano and Giuseppina Tiano; and his wife Josephine Tiano (Guercio). He is survived by: his children, Lucy Doney (Craig) and Dominic Tiano (Kerry-Lee); and his brother Pierrino Tiano.
