He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Traynor and Elizabeth Traynor (McLean); his wife Bonnie Elizabeth (Hawkins); his granddaughter Danielle Traynor; his siblings, Shirley Lee (Gord), Carol Walden (Claire), Bernard Traynor and Bev Casey (Bill); and his brothers-in-law, Bill Shea and Malcolm Nisbet.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Traynor (Rob), Chris Traynor, Tanya Doell (Jeremy) and Amanda Traynor-Propper (Jeffrey); his grandchildren, Payton (Sam), Shaneika, Colton, Nolan (Emma), Alyssa, Haley, Cody (Julia), Darrien (Aliyah), Xavier, Logan, Evander and Amelia; and his sisters, Florence Daum (Bruce), Elizabeth Shea, Annette Nisbet and Yvonne Nickason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations in Gerry's memory may be made to West Perth Village.
