With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Violet Sauder (Stratford, Ontario), born in Millbank, Ontario, who passed away on January 11, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Gerber and Violet Gerber; her spouse Sydney Brubacher Sauder; her siblings-in-law, Betty Martin, Orvie Sauder (Esther), Lydia Ann Reist (Paul) and Elvina Sauder; her siblings, Norman Gerber (Madeliene) and Ruth Jantzi (Leonard Roth); her siblings-in-law, Salinda Gingrich, George Sauder (Minerva), Edwin Martin, Alvin Sauder, Alma Sauder and Amsey Sauder (Hannah); and her cousin Vernon Gerber.
She is survived by: her daughters, Colleen Steckly (Bruce) and Charlotte Steckly (Perry); her grandchildren, Rachel and Connor; her brothers-in-law, John Gingerich, Melvin Sauder (Irene) and Nelson Sauder (Martha); and her cousin Peter Woolner (Catherine). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
