He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward McLeod and Matilda McLeod (Schneider); his daughter Sharon; his brothers, Gordon and Harry; and his brothers-in-law, Lester Everatt and Jack Listman.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce McLeod (Everatt); his children, Wayne McLeod (Lynnette), Nancy Jasper (Doug), John McLeod (Debby) and Linda Kelly (Joe); his grandchildren, Karen (Garett), Kevin, Kyle (Jennifer), Adam, Matthew (Ashley), Katie, Joel (Amy), Riley (Dawn), Amanda (Angus) and Scott (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Sydney, Makayla, Kolby, Kohen, Declan, Emma, Adeline and Olivia; and his sisters-in-law, Edith Listman, Jean Windover, Doreen Osbaldeston (Doug), Carole Everatt and Patricia McLeod.
