He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Geisler and Melinda Geisler (Russel); and his brothers-in-law, Mel Vis and Len Deighton. He is survived by: his wife Dolores "Dolly" Geisler (Rantz); his siblings, William (Gayle Geisler) and Carolyn Vis; his siblings-in-law, Maureen Deighton, Bernice Leclair (Normand), Earla Solmes (Lloyd), Nancy Rantz and Weldon Rantz (Norma); and his pet Brassie.
