With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Alexander Patterson of Stratford, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Patterson and Nora Patterson (Foley); his wife Mary Patterson; his son Steve Patterson; his brother James Patterson; his sisters-in-law, Marlene Patterson and Doreen Patterson; and his daughter-in-law Pauline Patterson.
He is survived by: his children, Morgan Patterson and Leah Green (Harvey) of Westbank, BC.; his grandchildren, Julie Patterson, Joe Patterson (Angela), Dan Patterson (Morgan), Joni Banks (Steve), Philip Patterson (Amparo), Jon Green (Katie), Erin Zuccala (Dan) and Alexandra Divis (Derek); his great grandchildren, Tyson, Wilson, Eli, Evangeline, Selah, Pearl, Mateo, Lincoln, Shaylee, Jordan, Eleanor, Betsy, Marianna, Huck, Emmett, Nora, Hayley and Abigail; and his brother Robert Patterson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home Reception Centre (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7).
