He was predeceased by: his parents, Gibson Rintoul and Fern Rintoul; his wife Linda (Ross); his children, Dean, Melissa Rintoul and Scott (Lysandra); his grandchildren, Hayleigh (Simon), Declan, Marta, Reagyn and Reyna; his great grandchildren, Margot and Aiden; his brother Ed Rintoul (Frances); his siblings-in-law, Pat Sipkes, Betty, Tom Christie, Don, Nancy Ross and Bonnie Ross; his brother James Rintoul (Gordon Rintoul); and his siblings-in-law, Jack Ross, Pete Sipkes, Jan, JoAnne and Diane Rintoul.
