He was predeceased by: his brother Gerard (Lillian); his siblings-in-law, Anne Vanhoucke, Fred Poppe and Vernon Ferris; and his parents, Edward Vanhoucke and Leonie Vanhoucke.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his son Neil (Allison); his granddaughters, Eliza and Maisie; his siblings, Andre (Marie), Maurice (Jacqueline), Raymond (Margaret), Roger, Godelieve Poppe and Monique Wood (Malcolm); and his siblings-in-law, Ruth Ferris and Ross Gladstone (Beth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
