She was predeceased by: her parents, Johanna Vermeulen and Antonius Segeren; her husband John Segeren; her son Jim (Lorie); her son-in-law Larry (Melissa); and her siblings, Wil and Jan.

She is survived by: her children, Marianne Smith (Ralph), Melissa Dawson (Danny), Mike (Ester), John (Tracey) and Melanie (Andre); her grandchildren, Everett (Charlene), Curtis (Jennifer), Jennifer (James), Brock (Laura), Josh (Christy), Allison (Karl), Brittany (Aaron), Brad (Chelsea), Jamie (Kalie), Brendan (Carly), Lindsay (Jesse), Jonathan, Lauren, Kristen, Daan and Katelyn; her great grandchildren, Jocelyn, Ella, Herman, Jack, Kade, Anna, Jacob, Braxton, Archie, Westley, Fiona, Adrian, Julianne, James, Clara and Finley; her daughter-in-law Lorie Talbot (Rick); and her siblings, Kees, Nel, Ton, Ria, Joke, Pete and Jos. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and several in-laws.
