He is survived by: his daughter Lily Lotz; his parents, Betty McCormick of Goderich and Garry Lotz; his stepmother Carol Lotz of St. Catharines; his siblings, Shannon Hoyles (Percy Hoyles) and Jonathon Lotz; his niece Katrina Wiedemann (Kris Wiedemann); and his great-nephew Finley Wiedemann.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Avondale Cemetery (4 Avondale Ave, Stratford, ON N5A6M4). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home Reception Centre (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7).
