He was predeceased by: his son Jabin; his parents, John Meinen and Renee Meinen; his father-in-law John Van Hell; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Van Hell and Alice Van Hell.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon (VanHell); his children, Kaeden and Serenity; his siblings, Angela Deweerd (John), Joanne Salverda (Ed), Fran Timmermans (John), Arlene Bouwmeester (Brian), Brenda Diehl (Doug), Ian Meinen (Cheryl), Marilyn Meinen (Kris Hollett), Dave Meinen (Jenny), Helen Elliott (Chris) and Sharon Leegstra (Rob); and his siblings-in-law, Rosa VanderKuylen (Harry), Ron VanHell (Deb), Bruce VanHell, Jane Grass and Tim VanHell (Debbee). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
