He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Gibbons and Marjorie Gibbons (Waters). He is survived by: his wife Pauline (Brickman); his son Steven; his granddaughters, Alyssa Anderson and Hanna Willsteed; his siblings, Floyd Gibbons (Dorothy), Ann Spall (Brian) and Jim Gibbons; his siblings-in-law, Bruce Brickman (late Colleen), Debbie Reece (Paul) and Janice Murray (Edwyn); and also Kristi Willsteed. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in Bill's memory may be made to Huron Hospice, 2nd St. John's Lutheran Church or the Canadian Cancer Society.
