He was predeceased by: his parents, Dionisio Dassie and Amabile Dassie; and his siblings, Rosina Lorenzet (Giobatta "Giovanin"), Maria Maganin (Luigi), Assunta De Lozzo (Maggiolino), Silvia Dassie, Bruna Zorzini (Renzo), Rina Piovesana (Cirilo) and Lorenzo Dassie.
He is survived by: his true love Elena Lena Dassie (Misuraca); his children, Nancy Dassie and Dino Dassie (Carla); his grandchildren, Stefania, Fabio, Brittany and Jenna; his brother Aldo Armando Dassie; and his sisters-in-law, Edivige Dassie, Carmela Santini, Anna Chircop, Isabella D'Agostino (Nicola) and Settimia (Alfredo).
A prayer will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (50 Well St, Stratford, ON N5A4L7). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Avondale Cemetery (4 Avondale Ave, Stratford, ON N5A6M4). A reception will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 1:30 PM at the Immaculate Conception Church (50 Well St, Stratford, ON N5A4L7).
As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Avon Thames Catholic Family of Parishes (Immaculate Conception Church) or to the Alzheimer Society through the funeral home.
