He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Drown and Irene Drown (Lease); his parents-in-law, Bert and Lena Comley; his brother Larry; his brothers-in-law, Donald Comley, Alvin Taylor and Glen Eaton; and his son-in-law Brian Mielke.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Comley); and his grandchildren, Kody (Amanda), Tyler (Carlie), Brandon (Jordan), Jennifer, Sean, Crystal (Jesse) and Katelyn (Marcel). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the W. G. Young Funeral Home (430 Huron St, Stratford, ON N5A5T7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Baptist Church (113 Bruce St, Stratford, ON N5A4A2).

Memorial donations in Allen's memory may be made to the Stratford General Hospital Dialysis Unit, or Memorial Baptist Church.
