He was predeceased by: his parents, John Howey and Della Howey (Kennedy); his daughter Della Lorraine Howey; and his siblings, Ida Wood (late Miller) and Bill Howey.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Hudson (Paul) of Straffordville; his grandchildren, Daniel Hudson (Erin), Emily Hudson, Sarah Hawkins (John) and Kathy Scanlon (Murray) of St. Paul's, ON; his great grandchild Maggie Scanlon (Troy); his grandson John Howey (Tina) of Eden; his great grandchildren, Robert Howey (Faith), Benson Howey (Lisa), Hannah Howey (Scott), Sophia, Audrey Hawkins, Edie, Denver, Everleigh Hudson and Della Howey; his brother Hugh Howey (Mabel); and his sister-in-law Katherine Wolfe (late Jack). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
