He was predeceased by: his son James; and his friend George Bedrossian. He is survived by: his wife Anne; his daughter Emily; his granddaughters, Magnolia, Kate and Jane; and his siblings, Angela and Pete.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the O'Neill Funeral Home (6324 Main St, Whitchurch-Stouffville, ON L4A1G9). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the York Region Alzheimer's Society.
