He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Burnie and Elizabeth Ann Ryan; his spouse Jackie Burnie (Toner); and his siblings, Albert (Lillian), Mildred (Rayburn), Edith (George), Hilary, John (Margaret), Ryan, Dora (Bob), Bernadine (Wilfred), Laura (Charles) and Elizabeth (Germain).
He is survived by: his children, Sandra, Susan (Robert), Blaine and Sherry (Gordon); and his sister Beatrice (Leo). He is also survived by grandfather to his many grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.
