We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2024, at the age of 86, Velia Del Conte of Stoney Creek, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Biagio D'Amore and Maria Rossi; her husband Antonio Del Conte; her parents-in-law, Nicola Del Conte and Giuseppina Antonucci; and her siblings-in-law, Lucia (late Ottavio Cialone), Gabriele Del Conte (late Anna) and Pasquale Del Conte (Vilma).
She is survived by: her brothers, Venanzio (late Giovanna) and Zelinda Meogrossi (late Gaetano); her children, Marco (late Michel), Josie Plumb (Greg), Mary Derakhshani (Parviz) and Denise (Babak Derakhshani); her grandchildren, Rebecca, Marcus, Madison, Jake, Veronica, Emma and Eric; and her sister-in-law Francesca (late Enrico Ciampa).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Margaret's Place Hospice.
