He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Umberto (late Maria), Adriana Cortina (Fernando) and Maria Savo Sardaro (Mario); his grandchildren, Agostina Salamone (Salvatore), Sam Bassani (Cynthia), Roberto Bassani (Natasha), Angelo Cortina (Lucy), Claudio Cortina (Connie), Daniela Cortina, Liana Cortina, Lizia Costa (Nelson), Hilda DeFazio (Domenic), Diana Costa (Mike) and Ildebrando Savo Sardaro (Alexandra); and his siblings, Domenico Santoro (late Rosina), Vincenzo Santoro (Pierina) and Maria Santoro (late Giovanni).
