He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Franca; his parents, Nicola Pellegrino and Angelina Pellegrino; his children, Sam Pellegrino (Lisa, Angela Pellegrino), Dave Turrin and Anthony Pellegrino (Teresa, Gina Uggenti); his grandchildren, Erica, Sabrina, Patrick, Nicholas, Marco, Lucas, Vanessa, Marcus and Anthony; his siblings, Antonio Pellegrino, Felice Pellegrino, Francesco Pellegrino, Maria Pellegrino, Giovanna Pullia, Domenico Pullia, Francesca Caruso, Salvatore Pellegrino, Giovanna Pellegrino, Pasquale Pellegrino, Domenica Pellegrino, Angela Muraca and Antonio Muraca; his siblings-in-law, Vincenzo and Rosa Severino; and his grandfather Vogliamo. He was also cherished by his many nieces and nephews.
