He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, Bruno and Bob. He is survived by: his children, Marty (Marian), Ann (Larry Bodner) and Karen; his husband Edward Shafer; his grandchildren, Nico, Tasha, Sam, Jake, Nick, Danny and Katie; and his siblings, Loretta Filipetto and Donna Nordoff. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
