He was predeceased by: his mother Nicolina; his wife Antonia; his father Donato Simile; his stepmother Rosaria Maria Caruso; his siblings, Cristina Leonardis (Rocco) and Angelo Simile (Mary); his sister-in-law Nunzia Natali Montecatini (late Giorgio); and his grandfathers, Fratello, Zio, Cugino, Compagno and Amico.

He is survived by: his pet Giuseppe; his children, Donato Simile (Jenifer) and Nicolina Gravina (Robert); his grandchildren, Joseph (Ana Beatriz), Juliana-Nicole (Christian Zanetti), Robert, Jon-Anthony (Milena Russo), Jenna and Danielle; his siblings, Grazia D'Onofrio (late Cosimo), Carmelo Simile (Giuseppina), Romeo Simile Molinara (Maria) and Italia; his brother-in-law Carmine Matteo (Antonietta); his close friend Maria Ferraro; and also, Rosa, Pino (Rita) and Franca (Roberto). He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces and nephews.
