He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Baker and Georgia Baker; his wife Joan Bernice Baker; and his siblings, Neil Baker (Marnie), Rodger Baker, Perry Baker, Lee Baker, Ellen Baker, Lynda Lou Robson and James Baker (Joanne).

He is survived by: his children, Beth Baker of Woodstock, Shelley Upton (Ken) of Ayr and Kirk Baker (Louise) of Roslin; his grandchildren, Laura Gawne, Jordan Upton, Sara Forder and Nathan Baker; and his siblings, Dale Baker (Linda) of Oshawa, Mary Lynn Ridder (Jacob) of Trenton and Jeff Baker (Heather) of Campbellford. He is also survived by his 5 great grandchildren, his many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Ontario would be greatly appreciated by the family.
