She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Claire; her children, Patrick Gillies (Mary Anne Black), Margaret Anderton (Ian), John Gillies (Peggy Reynolds), Bruce Gillies (Joan) and Joseph Gillies (Liz); her grandchildren, Paul, Brian, Derek, Shannon, Mark, Tyler, Lauren, Adam, Thomas and Emily; her grandmother Franny; her great grandchildren, Kayla, Zachary, Hannah, Brooklyn, Trenten, Jacoby, Ross, Colin, Emmett, Mira and Rose; her parents, Cornelius Doherty and Cecilia Doherty; and her siblings, Patrick, Sheila MacLean and Barbara Sanvido. She was also cherished by extended family, friends and neighbors.
