He was predeceased by: his sibling Jean (late Howard Macham). He is survived by: his wife Myrtle; his child Lyn (John Melenhorst); his grandsons, Greg and Steven (Tristan); and his siblings, Dorothy (late Doug Giffen), Bob (late Marie) and June (late Willard Everton). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, family, friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions attendance is limited to a specific number of persons within the facility at any one time.
