He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerry and Earl. He is survived by: his wife Sharon (Smith); his children, Shawn Aarden (Erin Rowsell) of Stayner, Sarah Clarke (Chris) of Thornbury, Christopher Aarden (Andrea) of Medicine Hat and Amy Baker (Matt) of Stayner; his grandchildren, Braden, Luc, Liam, Alex, Caleb, Ryker, Zoe, Bryce and Coen; his siblings, Joanne Ellis (Gord), MaryAnn Carruthers (Brent), Johnny Aarden (Donna), Harriette Thomson (Jim) and Elly Currie; and his brother-in-law Allan Smith (Lois) of Alliston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Collingwood General & Marine Hospital Foundation, or to the Krembil Neuroscience Centre at the Toronto Western Hospital would be appreciated.
