He was predeceased by: his parent Venka Shubat; his sibling Goldie; his spouse Elizabeth Ann Balfour; his parent-in-law Gladys Balfour of Toronto; and also Jeannie.
He is survived by: his parent Angelo Shubat; his parent-in-law Leith Balfour of Toronto; his children, Stephen and Paul; his grandchildren, Michael, John, Jeff and Chris; his children-in-law, Cheryl, Michelle and Meredith; and his stepgrandchildren, Rachel and Virginia.
