He was predeceased by: his wives, Gail and Bev; his siblings, Carl (Shirley), Margaret (Bob Dean), Lorraine (John Stedman) and Jim (Bya); and his parents, James and Mary.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Schell and Kim Schell; and his grandchildren, Samantha (Blair Soules), Melissa, Jonathan and Rebecca. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
