She was predeceased by: her parents, Janos Szarka and Margit Bodnar; and her brothers, Bela Szarka and Jancsi Szarka. She is survived by: her children, Gladys Nagy (Sandor), Sandra Kirby (Aurelle) and Robert Vanyi; her grandchildren, Jesse, Les, Sonny, Jordan and Dylan; and her great grandchildren, Devon, Kellan and Sascha.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, as this organization has been Magdolna's preferred charity for decades.
