She was predeceased by: her children, Beverly (Steve Armstrong) and David Burgess; her siblings, Bob Freethy and Dorothy Freethy; her husband Sam Burgess; and her parents, James Freethy and Mabel Freethy.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy (Mike Wood), Steven Burgess (Brenda) and Kevin Burgess; her grandchildren, Miranda (Brandon Engel), Brittany (Wade Burmister), Adam Fish, Michael Fish (Jordyn), Michael Hulfeld-Wood (Amy), Kristina Hulfeld-Wood and Stephenie Armstrong (Brady Merrifield); her great grandchildren, Carter, Deklan, Annibelle, Benjamin, Oliver, Katarina and Baby M; and her brothers, Nelson Freethy (Linda) and Norm Freethy (Shirley).
