It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Donald McPherson of Stayner, Ontario, born in Collingwood, Ontario, who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Wendy; and his brother Danny. He is survived by: his children, Cathy, Scott and Dorothy (late Mike); his wife Muriel McPherson; his grandchildren, Melissa (Brandon), Chris (Laura), Jordy (Maddy), Julie, Ben and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Lily, Colton, Jacob, Evan and Evy; and his siblings, Dawn (late Arnold), Peter (Mary), Patty (Paul), Linda (Roy), Gwen (Dan), Sandy, Susan, Diane (Shawn) and Paul (Judy).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Sixth Line Church (1152 Nottawasaga Concession 6, Stayner, ON L0M1S0). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stayner Sixth Line Church (1152 Nottawasaga Concession 6, Stayner, ON L0M1S0).
