She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Roney; her son-in-law William Rutherford; her parents, James Lealess and Pearl Lealess; her siblings, Ivan, Eric (Dorothy), Bryce (Shirley), Susanne Smith, Viola Webster (Harry) and Gwen Roney (Earl); and her siblings-in-law, Bill Butters, Franklin Roney (Margaret), Ray Huras, Ethel Mahaffy (Bert) and Edith Bell (John).

She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Copes (Raymond), Kenneth Roney and Linda Rutherford; her grandchildren, Christopher (Miriam), Kevin (Kelsy), Colin Copes (Rochelle), Thomas (Josie) and Heather Rutherford; her siblings, Jewel Butters and Wray Lealess (Bonnie); and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Lealess, Bill Smith and Hazel Huras. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
