She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David Durksen and Sara Durksen; her sisters, Sarah, Aggie and Kae; her children, Shannon Peters (Howie), Marsha MacLean (John), Matthew Eckert (Janice) and Merelee Janzen (Karl); her grandchildren, Darren Peters (Amy), Colin Peters (Mandy), Emmalyne Sullivan (Ryan), Mark Robinson (Christina), Manley Robinson, Taylor Eckert (Stephanie), Madison Eckert, Joshua Janzen and Megan Janzen; and her daughter Emmalyne.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Southridge Community Church (201 Glenridge Ave, St. Catharines, ON L2T3J6). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
