He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Ester Funk (Doug), Netty Dyck (Byron) and Brenda Friesen (Marv); his grandchildren, Douglas (Lisa), Derek (Sarah), David (Amy), Rachel (Jason), Avery (Zak), Danielle (Eric), Jared (Alex), Kaleigh, Sherrie (Levi), Teresa, Melissa (Corey), Grace, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Lena, Emily, Marta, Nolan, Nash, William, Henry, Evelyn, Heidi, Llewyn, Junia, Summer, Cooper, Leeland, Miles, Bethany, Toby and Frederick; his siblings, Helen Thiessen (Melvin), Joanne Unruh (Glen), Denis, Elizabeth Wiebe, Anne Wiebe, Agnes Toews (Gary) and Liz Wall (John); his stepsister Tina Boldt; his father Jesus (Saviour); and also, Hilda Wall, Werner Klassen, Ernst Wall (Frieda), Hardy Wall (Regina), Herbert Wall (Hildegard), Kathy Hein (Ernst), Sarah Enns (Pete), Lydia Klassen and Erich Flaming.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Scott St. Chruch (339 Scott St, St. Catharines, ON L2N1J7). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, if desired, can be made to Tabor Manor or Niagara Life Centre.
