He is survived by: his wife Sandra DeYoung (Doan); his children, Michael DeYoung (Patricia) and Suzanne DeYoung; his sister Doris DeYoung; his grandchildren, Dale Rose (Jennifer Newton), Mallory Rose, Laura Van Bussel (Christopher) and Samuel Gamble; his great grandchildren, Alex, Abby, Olivia and Hailey; his daughter Michele DeYoung; and his great grandchild Liam Ivan Van Bussel.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M 4Y1). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Audubon Society and Therapy Tails would be greatly appreciated.
