Eleanor Lancaster Obituary
We bid farewell to Eleanor Lancaster of St. Catharines, Ontario, born in Irricana, Alberta, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 10, 2025 at the age of 96. Eleanor touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Richard Goodwin of Alberta. She is survived by: her husband Harry Hamilton Lancaster (Bud); her children, Richard (Leanne), Janet (Scott), Elizabeth and Greg (Laurie); her grandchildren, Nick (Kira), Margaret (Adam), Joey, Laura, Ted, Tori, Reid and Dane; and her great grandchildren, Eleanora (Nora) and Luka. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the George Darte Funeral Home (585 Carlton St, St. Catharines, ON L2M 4Y1). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
