Efrem Siro Tonellato Obituary

We bid farewell to Efrem Siro Tonellato of St. Catharines, Ontario, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 24, 2025 at the age of 92. Efrem Siro touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Giuseppe Tonellato and Alba Tonellato (Dottori); and his siblings, Costantino Tonellato (Rosina), Pierro Tonellato (Ercolina), Ermas Tonellato (Ines), Ellena Pizzolatto (Armando), Imelda Favotto (Stelvio), Lina Leporatti (Remo) and Suora Alba.

He is survived by: his wife Milena (Morandin); his children, Joanne (Mabrouk Elgadi), Alba (Mark Kotyk), Linda and Silvio (Natalia Zvyagintseva); his grandchildren, William Kotyk (Karla), Sean Kotyk, Jalal Elgadi, Seja Elgadi, Sara Elgadi and Kirill Zvyagintsev; and his sister-in-law Gabriella. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and great-great-nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke foundation.
