Albert Goossen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Goossen (St. Catharines, Ontario), who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Albert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Albert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Gerhard Goossen; and his brother-in-law Allan Klassen. He is survived by: his mother Elvira Goossen; and his siblings, Marianne Klassen, Helmut Goossen, Helene Culp (James), Vic Goossen (Annalé) and Paul (Ingrid).
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Mennonite Church (3357 Rittenhouse Rd, Vineland, ON L0R2C0). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Victoria Lawn Cemetery (431 Queenston St, St. Catharines, ON L2P2Y3).
