She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Thiessen and Aganetha Thiessen; and her siblings, Anna, John, Abe, Nico, Ike and David.
She is survived by: her husband Abraham B. Giesbrecht; her children, Nancy Bird of Sarnia, Abe Giesbrecht (Tricia) of Springfield and Christy Collins (Patrick) of Sarnia; her grandchildren, Sebastien, Nolan, Tessa, Alyssa, Avery, Ava and Kiera; and her sisters, Susan, Hilda, Lena and Sara. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home (119 Talbot St E, Aylmer, ON N5H1H3). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Reinland Mennonite Church (51979 Glencolin Line, Aylmer, ON N5H2R3).
