She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvis Jernigan and Marie Jernigan (Sowards). She is survived by: her son Barry Blount; her grandson William Blount; her stepson Brian Blount; her grandchildren, Dustin (Katy), Rachel, Clayton and Jacob; and her siblings, Bob Jernigan (Saundra), Don Jernigan (Janice), John Jernigan (Della), Barbara Blount (Jim) and Beverly Brake (Robert). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
