He was predeceased by: his parents, William Scott and Sarah Scott; and his siblings, Beatrice Scott Beange (Charlie), Edward "Ted" Scott (Marie), Margaret "Margie" Scott Blackburn (Bill), Lottie Mae Scott McDonald (Jack), Maria Scott McDermid (Ken) and John Scott (Laura).

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Scott. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
