He is survived by: his spouse Mary Boychuk; his children, Julie Casey and Lisa Bruce (Mark); his grandchildren, Jessica Casey (Adam), Amanda Krygiel (Alex) and Connor Bruce; and his siblings, Lynne Hatter (Gordie), Judy Laplante and Allan King. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
